Shashi Bala Prasad was born on 29^th July 1973 at Barauni, Bihar. She joined BHU after school and majored in Biochemistry. She joined IT-BHU from where she completed M.Tech in Biochemical Engineering in 1998.She was awarded Gold Medals for topping the university exam during M.Sc and M.Tech. She remains interested in developments in the field of Biochemistry and Biotechnology and remains convinced that the new century belongs to these areas. She loves books, esp. those concerning her own area.

Rajesh Kumar was born on 7th Dec 1971 at Ranchi in Bihar. After schooling, he joined BIT-Sindri where they had to give him his undergrad degree in Mechanical Engineering because he’d already done four years there. He worked with SAIL at Rourkela Steel Plant for a year before mischief once again got the better of him and he joined IMT. He liked the place and threatened to live here forever but then they handed him his PGDBM in order to force him to leave the institute. At IMT, he and some of his friends ran a campus wallmag whose popularity conclusively established that character assassination is, and will remain, a very popular sport in this country. In this e-age, he unabashedly associates himself with brick-and-mortar types. He hates books, esp. concerning his area of study.

Shashi and Rajesh got married in the previous millennium on 19^th Nov 1999 at Bhopal. It was an arranged marriage, which goes on to prove that they are so out-moded and out-dated.

And how proudly so!
